:)

The holidays are coming up and I really want some good books for the summer. I'm 14 but I tend to read more adult books (time traveler's wife, notes from a small island, lovely bones (made me cry so much :D) etc) but I'm still into teen reads as well.
I'm very open to suggestions, your favorite book or one that you want to recommend that I try.

Have a lovely day :)
awesome suggestions! thank you! :)

i have read the Twilight books... that also made me cry :D
I know the Harry Potter's inside out i'm afraid :D

as for Lord of the rings... well I never really enjoyed it. Thanks anyway!

i really liked the books "i know this much is true" by wally lamb and "the book thief" by marcus zusak.. (i think that's the correct name spelling) they're quite long books but they're really good
i'm a vampire fan.. real vampires not the twilight kind, so if you like vampires too i would recommend "interview with the vampire" by anne rice
and for light funny reading, "angus, thongs and full frontal snogging" is a really funny book, i forget the author but you can find it with google

1984, Catcher in the Rye, alice in wonderland ( so much different than the disney version), the dark tower series by stephen king is just awesome -seven books total- seriously worth reading

I'm reading a SKEW of good books right now.

"The Help"- Kathryn Stockett. Just finished it, and it's so good, she has a perfect tone throughout the book. It revolves around the lives of two maids and a white southern woman. Normally, I'm not into Civil Rights fiction books but this one is something to try.

"The Kite Runner"- Just started, it's good so far.

"The Wind Up Bird Chronicle"- Just started but it draws you in quickly.

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame"- Over half way through and it's unbelievable.

"Speak"- Finished that a few weeks ago, I don't normally like teen books but this one was really good.

The Twilight saga,Bag of bones,The Dark Tower series,Wuthering Heights,Seeds of yesterday,Go ask Alice,This boys life,and Basketball diaries.
Here are some more that are for young adults and adults that I really like:
Animorphs series,and Bridge to Terribithia.

Since you liked the Time Traveler's Wife (a great book!), I would highly recommend reading The Samurai's Garden by Gail Tsukiyama. It's a great story.
