can you receive financial aid if you are planning to attend to schools for both ?

im planning to attend a community college nearby where i live but im also planning to attend those university online school, so if i apply for financial aid for both will i get it or i get decline because im only entitle for just one school! plaz sum one help me figure this one out before starting the process tanx
 
You are not allowed to receive aid at two different schools for the same time period. That said, both schools may award you, but eventually one or the other, or both, will be notified that you have what is called concurrent enrollment and you not only can lose your aid at both schools it will happen mid-semester when you will owe the bills for both and be required to pay out of pocket. Make a choice where you want to study and go with that school only. However, many community colleges have on-line classes available and many areas have local college consortiums that allow you to take classes at other schools through your home school, as well as connections through a university without walls system of classes from other colleges that are paid for through your financial aid at the home college. Do some investigation.
