can you reccomend a nice place to have breakfast (within london)?

Myself and a good friend are meeting up on friday morning, we want to meet over a meal (breakfast) however i cant think of anywhere that serves breakfast appart from mcdonalds and greasy cafes...can any of you reccomend sumwhere within london preferably east london.
