can you really obtain a loan or business credit if personal credit is so so during

this recession? My partners business credit score is pretty good and now trying to obtain a bigger loan. He is only open about maybe 9 months. NO partner or investor. He was able to obtain a small loan about 10000 loan but i understand his credit is not too great!! He is working on obtaining more money ( right now he needs 15000 more but the interest rate he got was really high!! ) He says if he keeps improving his business credit by the end of the year he should be able to get another loan without working on personal credit? Can someone settle a bet please? He swears he can get a loan or at least 20000 business credit card. He has a small business and he really has all three major companies. Can someone settle a bet? Ironically our coworker said about a 8 months to a year the old fashion way for business credit established and no companies!! She just applied for business credit under her bakery. She paid for a good business plan and she said marketing. She told us credit about 620 but she didnt go specific . She ran out the door as soon as she got funding (lol!) A bakery ???? She was kind enough to leave me info for the business plan info at least!
