Can you rank up in Marine Boot Camp?

If so what requirements and how many in your platoon get ranked up? Can you get ranked up to a Lance Corporal from being a Privite First Class from Eagle scout?
 
yes you can get ranked up to lcpl (e3)

the highest meritourious promotion you can get in boot is e2, private first class. you can get this tons of ways, i forget all of them, but i know 1 is having so many credits, and i think being in eagle scouts (though i foget which rank, i think its preety high)

with that said, also during boot camp, occasionally the di's will choose a recruit or 2 who are above average to promote to either e2 (if they had no promotions coming) or e3. Keep in mind hwoever that they dont HAVE to promote anyone, only if they feel someone earned it.

From what my freind tells me, your much more likely to recieve a promotion of that sort during either mct or soi, then you are at boot, but it can happen.
 
If you are the best at everything when your at boot camp then you might get one promo. if you help your recruiter get 2-3 people to sign up and go to boot camp youll also get one promotion, if you were in jrotc you can also get a promotion..... thats all i know of to get promoted before or after bootcamp
 
Most rank up as PFC if they rank up at all. Yes, given you were Company honor man. Only 1 per Company would rank as Lcpl.
