Can you put your tropical fishes outside in a pond in the spring thru fall...

...then take them in before winter? A friend of mine did it and his fishes came back huge.
 
I also would not recommend it. Ponds change temperature more rapidly than bigger bodies of water where these fish normally are, the fluctuations may be too much for them. But, depends on where you live!
 
depends on were you live, what kind of fish, And do you care if they get eaten by animals. I would not do it they run the risk of getting eaten or catching something. Most tropical fish will not live throw extreme temp changes.

But it depends on were you live.
