I have heard about Subaru swaps (and Porsche swaps), but it "seems" like it wouldn't be too much work to swap out the drive trains. Besides cutting and welding in new motor mounts; and I assume running lines to the front for a radiator (is that what is done in the MR2?), would it actually fit?
While I am on the subject, what about putting the Ford 5.0 on a Miata frame ("Monster Miata"---pretty common), then putting the Karmann Ghia on the Miata frame? Could this also be done?
