Can you put a new header pipe on a 2 stroke dirt bike with the same stock exhaust pipe?

I have a KX 85 dirt bike and i was wondering if i could buy a pro circuit platinum pipe to put on my dirt bike and still keep the same stock silencer exhaust pipe on the back
