Can you put a hard top AND a soft top on a 2001 Jeep Wrangler at the same time?

I'm moving cross-country and won't be able to store the hard top for several months. Since I own dual tops (hard and soft), can I keep the soft top on inside the hard top? I know it came this way from the factory when it was new, but now I can't figure out how to get it back in the same way.

Right now I'm planning for the soft top to be in the 'down' position with the top mostly stuffed back near the trunk area and the hard top will go where it normally would. Will this work?

I have heard if the top is down and folded back very tight you can fit a hardtop on it, the soft top can't just be up for obvious reasons
