...the author? The book is about a female police officer who falls in love with an alpha lycan and also a head vampire. I read these back in the early 90's so it's PRE-Underworld (and thus NOT Underworld). There were over 8 books in this series. Also, another important factor in this book is that the oldest vampire was a little girl (and no, this isn't Anne Rice). Thank you so much!
