can you please help me with ths art work!!!?

ok well in art we get theme and stuff to base our 3d work on.. well this time its spark.... and im planning on making a large heart and putting it in a box/frame thing and having cords plugging into it.. and...

i have 2 questions..

1. how could i make a large heart!!?? that i would later be able to sorta paint... (wire maybe??) but how would i get the shape of a heart? also

and 2.... im looking at putting things to represent the 1800's (the time electricity was really sorta created and used for the spark plug cords in my work) what are some small things i could use to represent that time??? (maybe feathers.. for the indians?????) what else?
 
answer to first question..... 1/4 plywood... you could cut it or have a carpenter you know cut it out like a heart. (jig saw)

For the 1800's.....horse shoes. You could maybe tie that in to the heart somehow. ? Hope that helps.
