my current computer used to be pretty damn good 4 years ago, but now it can barely run some of the game demos i download and often freezes...
its gotten to the point where it's slow with every application (and even internet explorer often freezes/hiccups)...
my current computer has:
- an AMD Athlon (tm) 64 processor 3500+ (running at 2188MHz)
- 1 GB of RAM 984 MHz
- an Nvidia 6600GT graphics card
-im not sure what motherboard i have
so basically, since i figured i couldnt just add newer computer parts because the other parts wouldnt be compatible with them...
so i've decided i should build a new computer from the ground up, and that it should cost no more than $700 (not including monitor, operating system, other peripherals etc.)
so if you have any knowledge on the subject could you please help me out with choosing the computer parts/direct me to a good site for that?
