Can you play music or sound from the game through your headset?

Is there a way so that the music from the game can come through your xbox 360 headset instead of the TV?
If so, how?
 
Yep, A turtle beach or any other xpensive headset. Such as a Astro, trittion, Turtle beach etc. I suggest the X1 to start off with. They are only $60 at bestbuy and WELLLLL worth the money i wouldn't want to play a game without them. (it's like surround sound) and if you play call of duty online you can hear peoples footsteps which gives you a major advantage.
 
no but you can plug earphones into the tv and have it so in one ear is the sound from tv and the other is the headset so you can talk to your friends
