Because a lot of music videos definitely seem photoshopped in order to make people appear taller and thinner. Example: Lady Gaga in the Telephone video...she definitely isn't as skinny in person as she is in that video. Also the Kpop group SNSD (Girls' Generation) aren't all that tall and I'm sure that camera angle and lighting does wonders, but I'm wondering if professional music videos, commercials, etc. are all photoshopped.
