Can you only 'pull' girls if your dancing at a party?

I'm just about leaving school and I have the last ever school party tonight down at the local social club, well it's not really just for the school people, anyone under 20 can come along. I've never been to one of these types of parties before and would love to meet a girl as i'm reasonably shy but lots of girls who do know me say I look really cute and good looking. It's just I have NEVER danced before and really am not the type of person to be busting out the grooves on the dance floor, i'm more the type you will see round the edge chatting to mates but still drinking alchohol. Can you only like kiss and get off with a girl if your dancing or can you still meet girls without dancing? Thanks

Dancing with a girl does not = kissing and "getting off".

Just be the guy on the edge chatting with mates but making (not-creepy) eye contact with girls you fancy. If you're so cute and good looking, a girl will come up to you or at least give you a signal that she might like to chat. CHAT. Not kiss or "get off".

Get your expectations in order and you might end up having some fun.
