...Professionals as just Obama not Pres.? In the millitary (which he IS the Commander In Chief) I've worked for some clueless officers but what I must salute and address as "Sir" is their Rank and Authority whether I had real respect for the person or not, you must respect the rank, the office, and what it stands for.
 
You know I disagree with just about everything President Obama stands for, but I noticed today while watching the news the exact same thing you speak of. The ticker on the bottom even flashed something about the guy who threw a shoe at "then President Bush", while another went by with just "Obama giving speech on healthcare"
