Can you make sounds in your head?

I've had this ability for as long as I can remember. It's an actual sound that I hear with my ears but only I can hear it because I make it inside my head.

When I am making the sound I tense up something near my ears and it makes sort of a rushing water/air type sound. It's easier if I blink at the same time.

I find myself doing it to a song stuck in my head. Sort of like humming, but only I can hear it.
 
that sounds incredible LOL
never heard of anything like that, sounds very unique, i don't know how you would prove it to someone though
