Can you load a PRL from an SD card for 650?

no you need a serial cable for it

I might be able to load a PRL from a .PRC file. I'm working on that now.

nope,its not possible, palm os has read only access to that part of the memory

Not completely true. The Palm Updater instals a new PRL in a PRC file. It does this after it updates the ROM, so it does it from within the OS.
