from the reviews i've read you can't do much of anything else but listen to music when you're listening.

CELL takes all 7 cores to process the task of listening to music. God forbid it let you do something else.

Didn't the 360 have this issue w/downloads too? I think it was fixed in a patch.

I think its that they didn't program any of the cores to do anything else. The Processing Element is still just one unit after all.

It has nothing to do with the processor, they just didn't program the XMB to be able to do it yet.
