Will a vocal teacher help? (I know most suggest that this would be the best way of learning how to sing). There is a problem though. I think if I start singing lessons, people will think its gay, it is kinda embarrassing because I am a guy and a teenager but I really want to learn how to sing. Is it possible to learn to sing by yourself? Will singing songs everyday (more than one hour) for a year, make you better? (I have been for two years but I asked from two people so far, if I have a good voice and they said its pretty good or not bad, but when I sing, I usually get neither a bad comment nor a good one so I think its okay, to me as strange as it sounds I like my voice but it is not powerful nor skillful like the singers for example from the fray, or one republic, which I want to, but will I achieve a powerful/skillful voice if I keep singing and try to imitate them?) I have a huge love for music, my dream one day is to have a band and write songs
