Can you identify this electronics part?

If you look at the photos linked below, I'm referring to the cylindrical thing in the middle of the photos, with the grey cone on one end. It's part of the thermal safety cutoff circuitry (you can see the switch just above it) from a Vornado DVH.

I need to identify EXACTLY what it is so that I can replace it. As you can see, it is burnt out.

I don't think this is an electronic part, or if it is, it's an inherent part of the switch, as it has a mechanical part to it. You need to replace the entire unit.

It looks like a thermal fuse to me. You typically find them in hair dryers and other similar applications. They have a variety of temperatures and current handling capacities. Look for a degree F or degree C value printed on the case.
