Can you hook up car subwoofers inside?

Hi every one I will probably have an alpine type e 10 in sub. I know kinda weak. I was wondering how to hook it up indoors. If it's even possible. If so how would I go about this. What do I need and about how much will this cost me?

One quick easy way (can be damaging to your charger) hook a battery charger up to a 12 volt battery plugged into your wall. Then wire up the amp normally. Using the battery ground as your ground. Remember to still fuse it from the battery to amp ;)

On another note, yes you can buy adapter kits that convert 120volt (north america) to 12 volt. However, I have no idea what those would go for.
