...need a fishing license? Thinking about going on a trip on my own, can you hike/camp alone in Yellowstone?
And fishing, do you have to have a license in Wyoming to fish in the park?

You can hike/camp alone. That might be the best way, that way you can do whatever you want and stare at a beautiful sight for as long as you want without interruptions or obligations of entertaining. And you can fish there and you do need a license but I think you can actually buy your license at the park. But double check that one though.
