I got a letter which said that my current capped rate was coming to an end and that they would put me on another oneuntil aug 2011. It also said that the current capped rate was more expensive than my previous one AND more expensive than their "current standard direct debit price". So I phoned to se how much more expensive it was.....but they were complete idiots and had no idea what I was talking about! I had to read the letter to them 3 times! Then they had to get a manager!!!!
The manager said that the new capped rates were exactly the same as the stndard non capped rates. But now I am not too sure that they know what they are talking about? So is there anyone out there that can help me??? I do not have my bill to hand!
But the new capped rates are as follows:
Electricity (domestic s premier plus) Daily service charge 16.92p
All dayunits KWH 11.23p
Gas (Premier plus) Daily service charge 18.91p
All day units KWH 3.024p
So ARE they more expensive than their standard NON capped rates? Or the same? I live in North Wales. Hope you can help!
