This is our first "long" hike. There are three of us, and we're filming a documentary of it the entire time. We've been hiking before, but just the same-old hiking trips everyone goes on throughout their life like visiting a state park with school or something. We've already done the research and have (hopefully) bought all the necessary gear. We've also been walking many days around the city we live in for hours with our gear on to wear it in, and get used to it. But hiking across the country is going to be more difficult than we realize. Do any experienced hikers have any tips or recommendations for us?
