Can you hear the classic Zelda overworld theme when riding through Hyrule Field?

I know Koji Kondo made some changes to it for The Ocarina Of Time. But I just don't hear it as prominently compared to The Legend of Zelda, Adventures of Link, A Link To The Past, or The Minish Cap.

Am I the only one? Seems to me that Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess are changing it up a bit.
 
I heard the original theme rather prominentyly when I played Wind Waker. Everything from sailing across clear, open water to when Night becomes Day.

I haven't played Twilight Princess long enough to notice though.

I must say though if they are kinda phasing it out, it makes me a sad panda. I know when I play Zelda games, I always find myself humming along to the soundtrack. I think it's one of the things that made the original games and even the more modern games (to a lesser extent) enthralling and captivating.
