Can you have two formulas on side and one on the other in a net ionic equation?

I was balancing equations and it started like this
H3PO4+CuSO4----> HSO4+CuPO4
then I balanced it and got 2H3PO4+CuSO4--->3H2SO4+Cu(PO4)2
then I did the net ionic equation and got 2PO4+3Cu--->Cu(PO4)2
Is it correct? If not, where did I go wrong? Can I have two element formula things on side-- 2PO4+3Cu and on element formula thing on one side--Cu(PO4)2
I really don't understand this and I got to turn this in tomorrow
