Not the magic kind, or poisonous, I mean in general. How do you grow mushrooms? I'm growing tomatoes and other vegetables and I love mushrooms. They're so expensive in the store!
If you can grow them, do you need real cow manure or regular potting soil and can you make cutlings/clones or do they have the equivalent of "seeds"?
What if you don't have a basement? Would a closet do? I'm just concerned about fumes or anything of that sort because there is a baby in the apartment (I grow my other plants out on the balcony.)
If I snag a few mushrooms can I grow more from that batch if I replant them and they live/flourish? Any experience in this anyone?
