can you go to jail for not reporting a dead body?

my friend had seen a dead body, and one of her other friends had killed the guy, she didnt report the body because number one: someone said they had seen his arm move and she was positively sure if he was dead or not, and number two because she was affraid of getting killed herself if he wasnt caught, the murdered had gotten caught the next day. can she get introuble for this?
well what could happen to her?
 
Yes she can because if she was there she was an acsesory to the murder or an aconplis. And u should tell her to report the killer.

I watch a lot of law and order and csi.
