...enlisting? You know like survival skills, if Nuclear WW3 happens anytime.
What about for money? Would it be good to join a militia?
 
Nope, it costs money to train soldiers, and let's face it, the government will never put money out without expecting something in return...ie...service.
 
Back in the 80's, I heard of a few actors that paid their own way to go through basic training so that they could more accurately play the part of a soldier. I don't know if they still do that any more though.
 
No, you cannot. The Army and Marines are not going to spend $80,000 training you in BCT or boot camp and then not expect anything from you in return.

If you want military training, then there is only one wayto get it and that is to enlist. Nothig in this world is free, including freedom.
