Can you go stupid by watching tv the WHOLE summer?

I'm going to my aunts house in Venezuela. And I just have to go to renew my passport but my family wants to stay for the whole summer. At first I didnt want to, but it would be nice. I'm taking a lot of dvds and shows with me to watch over there. It gets really boring there!!! All I have is the tv. I am taking books with me to read. I'm gonna be going to the gym and getting exercise and stuff. But my question is, can you go stupid by watching about 4-5 hours of tv a day?
I NEED FULL EXPLANATIONS!
 
TV does nothing to decrease your intelligence, unless of course it keeps you from going to school, getting proper nutrition and the like. watching tv that much wont necessarily make you smarter (unless you are watching educational programs, i have learned quite a bit from the Mythbusters myself) but it doesn't actively dumb you down.

pretty much all i do all summer is get on the computer, play video games, and watch TV but i'm in advanced math and i'm gonna b tested for AIG next year
so, no tv can't make u stupid
