Can you get gestational diabetes even after you take the glucose test while pregnant?

that syrup would cause most people to develop diabetes if they had to drink it on an empty stomach.

I do not see why they don't do the blood draw method that is the gold standard of diagnosing diabetes for pregnancy too. It would be far more accurate than making you drink syrup on empty stomach.

I could not have handled that!! I could barely stand weak tea and dry soda crackers on an empty stomach. Could not have tolerated going that long either without eating.

I had nausea for the entire time each time I was pregnant. Unless I munched on something almost continually I was hanging my head over the throne to the great porcelain god having the heaves.
