Can you feed Beta food to Tropical fish?

I am going on a vacation and just realized all I have is beta 3 day feeder blocks. Was wondering if i can use this as a substitute for my tropical freshwater fish.
I am leaving tomorrow morning and will be back Saturday Night.
In essence, I will be gone for 4 days.

those blocks are awful, they make the water messy and when you come home you might find a cloudy tank with some dead fishies.

how long will you be gone? fish are not like humans. they can go a lot longer without food. a week is perfectly fine.

How long are you going away for? Fish can easily survive without food for a quite a while, a few days without feeding won't hurt them. Feeding blocks are a complete waste of time as most fish don't know what they are and they'll only end up polluting the water as they dissolve. Good water quality is more important than food.

well to answer your question beta fish are tropical fish so technically yes because it has to be tropical fish food to feed beta's so in essence yes you can but i dont recomend it, if its a simple weekend vacay then feed them regularly until you leave, then they can slim down and eat heartily when you get back, they will be fine so dont worry and for other people to answer you more accurately add in details how long please
