Can you explain Physics I?

Okay, I'm taking a summer program and it includes a course on Physics I. But I'm 13, and where I am, have never learned physics. My teacher drew a right triangle on the board and said something about the sin, con, and tan. And some other things like hypotenuse (I think), opposite, and adjacent? (I'm not really sure.) Something with angles, sin30 = half, and SOHCAHTOA.

Keep in mind that I'm 13 when explaining all this to me. I will be having quizzes throughout that program.

here's an anagram to help
some old hippie, caught another hippie, tripin on acid
stands for equations for sine, cosine, and tangent
sine= opposite & hypotenuse
cosine= adjacent & hypotenuse
Tangent= opposite & adjacent
