Can you enlarge an image in Iphoto 08?

Im trying to permanently enlarge an image using Iphoto 08 and have searched all over the internet..the only help im getting is to try and resize them using the export option...when I do this the item doesnt change size even though I change the numbers

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Preferably I would like to make an entire album the same size.. I have just purchased a 32inch digital picture frame and would like all the pictures to look good on it..Hope you can help
