Can you download and use the program Skype on a samsung monte S5620 mobile phone?

I'm looking to buy a new mobile phone, mainly for the use of application Skype, as I'm visiting US for 2 months in the summer and want Skype to call people in the UK. I like the look of the Samsung Monte but no-one in phone shops or the internet could tell me if I could download Skype on it, which is pretty unhelpful. Can anyone please help?

If it doesn't work on this phone, I was also looking at getting the Nokia 5800.
