Can you do boot came or basic training, without enlisting in the military?

I wanted to do bootcamp in a branch of the military without actually enlisting. Is this possible? Why is the duration of bootcamp, and if I'm located in edison new jesery, what is the best place to go near me?
 
no, the military isnt going to waste the fifty thousand dollars or so that it costs to put you through bootcamp to get nothing out of you in return.
why would you want to go to bootcamp if you dont wanna serve anyway?

and to frank: even if your daddy was the secretary of defense, it still would not be possible. you need to enlist to go to bootcamp.
