Can you develop digital photos?

I have some pictures taken on my digital camera, and I uploaded it onto my computer. But then my dad wants to develop them, so is there a way to develop them? Not printing btw

No, there's nothing to "develop"...they aren't taken with film. You can print them on photo paper (just like if they were developed) but there is no "developing" of digital photos. That's actually the point of having such a camera.

Yes. You can upload the files directly to http://photos.walmart.com/store or http://www.mpix.com/ and they will send the "developed" prints directly to your house.

You can also burn the files directly to a CD or transfer them to a media card and have them printed instantly at the store itself.

Lets get some terms straight

Developing. Developing the film that you have exposed using a camera. The results are a negative which can be printed as photographic prints
Printing: Using either a photochemical process to produce images (called prints) using either negatives, transparencies or a digital file or using a digital file to print images using an inkjet or dyesub printer.

What happens inside a digital camera can be considered developing since the digital file is changed from a series of zeros and ones into a viewable image either on the cameras LCD or computer monitor. If you shoot using RAW, the "development" happens later using a computer program which "develops" the RAW data into a photo image.

So, what is it your dad wants to do? Take the image files to a photo lab and have prints made, but does not want prints made using your home printer?

Let us know and we will hopefully be able to help you further.
