(hello, and thanks for looking at my question) I am an aspiring creative writer and along with practicing my own writing I also do active poetry internalization in order to try and help my creativity, develop my skills, and motivate me. This is my method of poetry internalization: could you please critique it or give suggestions, please?
1) I first will have at least four MP3 Tracks of the actual poet reading his 4 poems.
2) I will print those four poems on paper.
3) I then read the poems on paper and then summarize them and give a brief reaction.
4) And lastly, for two days I will listen to the MP3 Audion clips of those four poems by the poet for about 6 hours, like at night before I sleep, as I work, and so on.
5) And then I move onto a next poet.
What do you think?
