I'm making a homemade ratatouille, and I wanted to have it with store bought ravioli - it says to boil it in water for 2 mins, but can I just simmer it in the tomato sauce for a bit longer? Or will it go mushy or something?

It's fresh pasta not cooked, so I'm thinking it's a no, it was just because I only have one pan at the moment (don't ask) and thought it might add to the flavour, but I think you're right, it will go mushy, or the sauce will boil and lose flavour!
