Can you convert a 2004 Mazda 6s automatic (5 spd) to a manual?

I'd love to have a manual, would this be a feasible idea, or is it too far-fetched and too expensive to do? I would have gotten it with a manual to begin with, but the car was given to me. I'm a car enthusiast, so an auto won't do for me.

If you have experience with this, please tell me what needs to be done, where I can get the parts to do it, and how much this will cost. BTW I'm not particularly handy with anything, so I'd be taking it to a mechanic or something.
 
Anything can be done if you throw enough money into it and this would cost a lot of money... At least 3000 for the transmission, then there's the pedals, cutting through or replacing the firewall, tuning or changing the computer... not to mention the mechanic (cost of the labor)... Your best bet is trade that in or sell it after saving up a bit and buying what you really want!
