Can you change the walkman skin?

First off, this forum rocks! I've finally gotten past Rogers not letting you put anything on your phone you didn't get from them! Rat Basta**s!

Sooo...now I can't stop.

Is there a way to change the skin of the walkman? Besides the orange white and black colours? I've found some to download, but can't seem to load them.

Any ideas?

Phone is w580i.

There is no way that you can change the skin on the phone natively. The skins you are looking at require the phone to be modded with software and have a patch applied to them to use them.The process involves the phone having its firmware slightly changed through software, allowing for the user to exploit certain files into the phone. It can be very risky and I wouldn't go trying it unless you're absolutely determined to be slightly different to everyone else...

I think you can change everything you want with application called "myTheme Creator". You should try it.
 
Sadly, MyTheme Creator will not do the trick. It will allow you to create new themes, such as the backgrounds and colour schemes used on your phone, but the media player is integral to the phone's firware and unfortunately requires a lot more effort and 'breaking in' to change. :(
