Can you bring an Android smartphone to Koodo Mobile?

Hi, I'm planning to buy an HTC Android smartphone, and I want to bring it to Koodo Mobile because the plans are much cheaper, plus I don't need a data plan because everywhere I go has Wi-Fi. Is it possible to buy the phone off of Kijiji or Craigslist or just at a Telus or Bell store, and get a SIM card from Koodo and just use Koodo's service?

Or is it possible just to buy an Android smartphone without a data plan with any other carrier?

Thanks for helping me if you do.

Firstly, Its imposible to get an android phone without a data plan, As your android phone automaticly syncs with google. Thus you will need to get the minimum data plan

As for koodo, It all depends on which android phone you buy. If the phone is compatible with Telus, it will be compatible with Koodo.

I could get into the phones gsm/cdma/hspa configurations, but its rather complicated. So when you decide on an android phone, you should just ask another question here or go directly to koodo and they will tell you if its compatible or not as all android phones use different connection signals.
