Can you block certain iPhone games from accessing the internet, without having to use airplane mode!?

I love to play iPhone games, but I don't like all the intrusive ads that game devs sneak into their games. I've noticed that switching on airplane mode gets rid of most advertisements that show up during games. It can also make certain games run a lot more smoothly and keep troublesome games from crashing... but it's irritating having to constantly switch airplane mode on and off.

Is there a way to prevent certain games from accessing the internet without using airplane mode?
