...warming/climate change just a bit ago?
I'm still waiting for those 25 hurricanes those genius scientists predicted for the US last year.
 
I can understand the theory but I have yet to hear facts to back up the theory that this is what is happening now.

Lower temps mean ice melting, which means more moisture in the air. Which means more snow.

But what I need to know is if the actual temperatures in the north east are warmer, colder or the same as in the past. If it is colder than average, that blows that theory out of the water.

Funny they don't mention that.
 
Yes, apparently they don't feel the need to make sense anymore.

And the CFC theory about the Ozone Hole turned out to be a hoax, too. Funny how the laws are not changing....

Why did the ozone hole disappear in 1988 and 1990?

The largest ozone hole ever was in 2006.

So what good did it do to curtail CFC's?
 
Apparently, the planet is getting colder because it's getting warmer.

Doesn't make that much sense to me, either. Actually, it sounds like they're trying to cover their tracks. Makes sense in the wake of Climategate where it was found that climate scientists (presumably in a bid to save their well-paying jobS) were trying to come up with some funky math to justify why the climate had not gotten warmer in the past decade.

It wasn't that long ago that 2010 was predicted as the year when the climate would start to cataclysmically heat up. They're instead scratching their butts because it's one of the coldest years on record.

Give it another decade or two, and the neo-communists (almost all of the intelligentsia which used to be reds in the 1980s are now greens) will be predicting dire man-made global cooling unless the world acts quickly enough to establish a global eco-socialism.
 
Look up el nino. The surface of the Pacific Ocean warms up every few years; this year it's warmer than usual so what would normally just be cold rain has turned into snow on the east coast.

That doesn't mean it's because of global warming. But it does mean that a weather pattern is a little more extreme than usual.

And believe it or not, one of the things that the scientists have been predicting is more extreme weather of all kinds associated with global warming.

Don't confuse weather with climate.
