I've been watching mafia shows lately, and I was wondering if you could be jailed for hiring the mafia to put a hit out on someone? I've been wondering for awhile now and want to know if it's possible.
AND NO I'm not planning to put a hit out on someone. TV lies sometimes.

yup, its like hiring a bear to eat your dinner, but what it does is eat YOU.

We have something in common. I also love to watch mafia/action thriller movies or film, example of this is the movie entitled 'road to perdition' starring Tom Hanks about working in a mafia boss.

First of all, in the true sense of the word. Mafia clan or family are not working for hit contracts. They are already making money out of illegal businesses so why in the world would they accept hit or assassination run for someone who will pay them for it? It doesn't make sense. If I am a crime boss of a certain Italian family and you asked me to kill someone for you, it is considered an insult to my family and to myself. I could easily shoot you down myself. So nobody just walk in and asked the crime family for a hit. Ridiculous. Unless...unless one of the member is a close friend of yours. Maybe. But it will never worked.

Before you can be jailed in the actual form of it, when you set inside the clan and hire them for putting a hit out for someone. You might end up being buried to the cemetery.
