to your old address? I saw an infomercial for a free Playboy magazine subscription, so I called and ordered. I was offered 6 months of free Playboy magazines, and after that I would be billed for yearly subscriptions. I could cancel at anytime during those 6 months and not have to pay anything. If I remember correctly, the yearly subscription was supposed to renew indefinitely. I also remember giving out my driver's license number to the agent I was talking to. I am doubtful that I canceled the subscription because I lost the callback number, and I could not find any number or address to contact on the magazines. I have since move from the apartment being sent the magazines, and it has been about 3 years since I lived there. I canceled my old checking account, and I opened a new checking account through the same bank about a year after I moved out of my old apartment. I have not seen any bills concerning this magazine subscription in the past 3 years and I have not been contacted by any collection agencies. This situation has me a little worried. Can I be racking up a huge bill somewhere, and be obligated to pay it? Is there such a thing as a magazine subscription that renews indefinitely for answering 'yes' to a question over the phone?
