I have finished calculus at school, but I find that I have trouble taking tests such as SAT, SAT II Math II, and AP Calculus BC (I took an AB class).
I find that I understand all the concepts, but somehow, i can't apply them to test questions etc. I have lost all confidence in my math skills. I don't think I'm dumb or stupid, but sometimes I just can't process the information; however, I am always eager to get help and accept my failures.
Just today, I found out I got a 690 on my SAT II Math II test. I struggled with my AP Calculus BC studies, and my SAT Math score remained a 680.
Am I really math-retarded? Or is it just the way I learn?
