A man has been accused of murder. Now the way to decide whether he is guilty or not, is the next morning he has to put his hand in a box (not see through) and pull out one of two coloured balls. If he pulls out the white one he goes free, but if he pulls out the black one, he is to be executed.
He stays in jail until the day of the box thingy.
it's at night and the next morining he must chose a ball.
Just before he goes to sleep, another man throws him a paper ball it reads
"both the balls are black"
the man knows the other man is his friend and would never ever tell a lie.

the day after the execution the man who was in jail is walking about freely, so he was proven not gulity.
So how did he do it?
