Can you and what would happen if you dropped a coin off the Empire State Building in NY?

I'm not going to do this hahah, I've never even been there.. but what would happen if you dropped a coin off the Empire State Building in NY??
 
It definitely won't bruise or kill a person, that's all a myth. As it comes closer to the ground it decelerates and loses speed so it's actually slower as it goes to the ground so it won't hurt at all.
 
Yes, mythbusters showed that a dropped penny does NOT speed up after a long fall.

However if it was thrown straight down, just right, it would kill someone.
So unless you want to be responsible for the death of someone than dont try it!
